Esmeralda Loka has extensive experience in providing internal and external audit services, with in-depth knowledge of global audit and accounting standards.

With over 20 years of experience, she has held positions as a Financial Specialist, Accountant, and Auditor in both the private and public sectors. From 2005 to 2012, she worked at the Ministry of Finance, specifically at the Rural Areas Development Fund Institution, as Head of Marketing and IT Directorate (2005–2006), then as Chief Financial Officer (2006–2009), and from 2009 to 2012 as an Auditor in this institution under the Ministry.

From 2012 to 2020, she held senior management positions as Directorate Head in Audit, Finance, and Banking. Additionally, during 2019–2022, she worked as an Accountant and Auditor in financial-audit consulting firms.

Since 2022, she has served in leadership roles in key central public administration institutions, such as the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, and the University Hospital Center “Mother Teresa” (QSUNT) in the Audit Sector—initially as Auditor and later as Head of the Audit Sector at QSUNT.

Currently, she is an Auditor for the Health Budget Sector at the High State Control.

She works as an auditor across various industries, including healthcare, insurance, finance, luxury assets, energy, and technology.
