May 10 – National Day of Justice – Interview on RTV ORA and ORA NEWS TV: Frashëri: Veting has put all the judges and prosecutors in a ‘bag’

Lawyer Kastriot Frashëri, one day before the National Day of Justice, says that lawyers face a number of problems.
Invited to the news edition of Ora News, with journalist Siklajda Shorja, he says that the climate of cooperation between lawyers and the justice system should be improved.
“The problems faced by lawyers today are many, not only the crisis of the justice system, compounded by the pandemic and the decline of the economy, but we also face a number of problems from the side of policy-making institutions and parliament. The climate between the cooperation between lawyers and the justice system must be improved, and what we have a problem with is the public administration as the latter refuses with an arrogance to fulfill the demands of the lawyers.”
He also commented on the justice reform, which according to him had both positive and negative sides. He says that many judges and prosecutors have left, who should never have left justice.
“We have been here for more than 4 years and we have seen the first results. On the one hand, there are positive things because a number of judges have left the system that are related to the loss of faith in justice, and on the other hand, we are faced because they have left the justice system. judges and prosecutors who should never leave the justice system.
